DLG standard 'Sustainable Agriculture'

The DLG Standard records, documents and assesses selected sustainability indicators for agricultural holdings. The Standard was developed by the DLG in collaboration with experts. The current version, criteria and assessment principles will be published here shortly. The Standard comprises indicators from the areas of ecology, economy, social issues and management. Each indicator is assessed in accordance with the published target or action logic; the relevant assessment logic is explained in the criteria. For the purposes of certification, target ranges have been developed for the indicators in order to determine the farm’s sustainability status on the basis of the published indicators.
